rhapsody in blue is so strong that literally every other segment could suck and this would still be one of the greatest movies of all time

i had completely underestimated how critical the Rhapsody In Blue segment of this movie was to understanding who I was as a child (because I loved it)

The toy soldier segment kinda blew, as did some of the celebrity hosts, but hot damn the rest of this was incredible

why did this film of 74 minutes need 9 different hosts

My cats sat under the tv and couldn’t look away it was so cute😭

Put this on for Rhapsody in Blue, stayed for the flamingo with a yo-yo

I like the part with the music

i cannot wait another 40 years for the next fantasia

Had to rewatch Fantasia 2000 right after I watched Fantasia. Such a cool expansion of the original Fantasia project. 

Wish it was longer, Fantasia 2000 flies by. “Rhapsody in Blue” is hands down one of my favorite depictions of NYC in all of film. The conclusion with “Firebird Suite” is a) unreal in its beauty and b) such a fascinating parallel to Fantasia’s conclusion with “Night on Bald Mountain”. An almost otherworldly celebration of the progression of animation. 

I adore it all so much.

Eh. This one has Steve Martin in it💙 & a Donald Duck Noah's Ark segment⚓️ so it's better than the first one. Still a terrible bore, though.😑

I get that these Fantasia movies have beautiful music🎼 & animation🤩 but I really just don't give a shit about what I'm seeing💀. My eyes start to glaze over😵.

This feels the same as the first one, just shorter. So that's a plus🤷‍♀️.
