Bellísimo coming of age en el que una niña, confundida por el miedo a la muerte, festeja junto a su familia el quizá último cumpleaños de su papá.
Lo mejor es la representación emocional tan humana en los personajes, cada uno refleja a su manera el duro proceso de tener un familiar enfermo, ya sea desde los problemas económicos, encontrar felicidad en las mínimas cosas o hasta tener que escapar de una fiesta para no afrontar aún más con el dolor.

The film follows an ordinary day in the lives of one Mexican family, in the natural flow of their chaotic domesticity. They work, they shower, they cook.
