This movie is so funny, so ridiculous, and so earnestly charming! It's a delightful exhibition of the many intimacies that human beings can (and have) experienced with food, including erotic pleasure, familial connection, and burgeoning friendships and a sense of community. This is a movie that highlights some of life's most simple pleasures, and it is nothing short of one of the most "feel-good" movies I've ever seen. And yeah - I am fully craving a great bowl of ramen now!!!
