A rape revenge movie featuring zero rape and starting off with the lead girls escape and subsequent torture oh her captor and freeing of other victims. I can applaud that! Obviously things aren’t all quite what they seem, and it is far from perfect, but a violent original revenge story is always good by me!
Tell me where they are.

The description of the film brought to mind the piece of garbage film I Spit on Your Grave, but I gave it a chance anyways because of a recommendation. While Grave spends almost half it's running time featuring the degrading torture of a female victim, THIS film actually skips all that and gets right to the escape and revenge part.
Not seeing our protagonist, Tina Ivlev, tortured for an hour takes away nothing from the film. If anything the revenge in the film is even more cathartic then anything in Grave because more thought was put into how the hell the character went through changed her... possibly for the worst.
As soon as we…
Saw this a few months ago and recently got it on disc. Kinda surprised this movie doesn't get talked about more. It's simple, effective, and Tina Ivlev is great as our bloodspattered vigilante. Why she isn't a bigger star I will never understand.
Death to all sex traffickers.
I thought this was decent but I felt like I was missing something at the end. It’s different from the average revenge caper!
A taunt revenge thriller that didn't go at all like I expected, not wasting anytime showing us the torture or sexual assualt of the female victim, the film refreshingly skips straight to her escape and shows her turning the tables on her former captor.
The film follows the story of Eve (Tina Ivlev), shown via flashbacks on a home video recording on a day out with her boyfriend to be a normal, fun-loving 21 year old. As we cut to the present day, Eve is now being held captive in the basement of a sexual predator (Richard Tyson). When he returns to check on her, Eve brains him with a loose brick and attempts to flee before realising that the…
I’m always a sucker for a woman getting revenge on the bad guys movie. And this is a good one.
A revenge film where everything just kept getting darker. It didn't shirk the violence and the horrifyingly realistic people involved were great villains. I felt that the plot almost became a novelty as it went on and that came across like each scene was trying to one-up the last, similar to bosses in videogames. That sounds ideal I know but I'm not sure they needed to keep escalating things so quickly - the premise was nasty enough on its own to stick with.
Imprisoned sex slave breaks free from her captor, only to discover there are more girls like her out there. She forces her captor to drive her to each of their locations in hopes of setting them free.
So it's a tastefully done rape and revenge flick that doesn't show the rapey stuff and goes much further with the revenge. It sounds straight forward, but Eve's good intentions don't always work out, once she discovers some of the girls are beyond saving.
At only 80mins, it wastes no time getting to the point with quite a few hiccups along the way. There are a few odd editing choices, that involve a juxtaposition of future sounds and images mingled with present ones,…
I wanted to like Bound to Vengeance so bad. I mean, how could you not have high hopes for a movie about a woman escaping a rapist and then physically forcing him to take her to where he's holding his other captives so she can free them? Well, while I still enjoyed watching said premise play out, the movie itself was a fucking mess. Literally the only reason that I even gave it a star and a half was because of the premise I keep going on about. If it had been about literally anything else it would have got a strong half star. It was like the studio gave the director $20 and a few generations old Android phone…
The more it's progressing, the more terrifying, shocking and bleaker it gets. Builds up its plot effectively along with the intensity. That's how I like my revenge thrillers.
