I’ve seen this film on a lot of peoples favourites and in convos it gets mentioned every now and then. 
Despite that I really don’t know what this film is about or even why it’s rated so highly.
All I know is that it’s a romcom that has De Niro, Cooper and J-Law in it. 
So can’t wait😁

CHRIS TUCKER ?!?!?!

Yeah I did not expect this to be two mentalists falling in love. 
I’m only up to the part where they’ve met but I’m genuinely really liking this film so much rn. 
De niros character is killing me, maybe his funniest character and his chemistry with Jennifer on screen when she does the whole Eagle mind fuck thing. 
THEY’RE SO GOOD TOGETHER 

God damn did I really enjoy this film. 
It’s quirky as fuck, it’s hilarious, the romance hits every step of the way through, the build up to it is great, the inevitable fall out didn’t feel forced, the characters were well built with some redeeming parts. The performances were class. 
Just made me smile all the way throughout. 

I kinda expected to cry my eyes out in this icl tho. I teared up at the final letter but that part didn’t hit me the way I thought it would. 
Probably what’s holding it back being a 5 ⭐️

I used to hate Romcoms, I’ve seen legit none of the major ones, no notebook, no 10 things I hate about you, or how to lose a guy in 10 days. 
I think it’s about time I let nature run its due course and finally take a Whack at it.
