2025 Oscar Nominations

Oscar’s tonight and I feel like this is the last film I’m yet to see which is a Must.
Obviously I wanna see I’m still there but there’s not a single screening anywhere near me so imma just wait.
Icl this is another film that I’m pretty apprehensive about.
Feel like it’s either gunna be a huge hit or miss.

The intermission has just hit and fuck me this film is outstanding so far.
In all honesty from what I heard about this, I was expecting a full holocaust film but what we’ve got so far is something so refreshing from this genre of film I really hope part 2 impresses even further.
I knew Adrien was a fantastic actor but got me Guy Pierce has been a massive stand out in this so far.

Damn this was fucking fantastic.
33 years of life encapsulated in maybe the quickest 3 1/2hours of the truest form of cinema.

The American dream has been done countless of times throughout history and what a refreshing take this was.
Absolutely insane that the production cost of this only cost 10 million, what a testament to the cinematography and directing because you really don’t see a lacking in budget anywhere.

There’s been a shit load of discourse about the use of A.I in this film already, and obviously I’m in the vast majority when saying
A.I in film = bad
But at no points in this film even knowing that Adrians voice had been altered could I actually tell.

I feel like whatever happens with Best Actor tonight will probably deem how A.I in film will go from now on.
If he wins it will be looked at as being acceptable to companies.
If he loses due to the pure fact that A.I was used then hopefully it will slow down the process.
Although I feel it’s inevitable at this point.
