Loooooool genuinely the only reason why I haven’t watched this is because I thought it was that film that was about the couple who couldn’t have a child so the room gave them one.
This is instead a psychological thriller that’s also a bottle film. Oh yeah Ik for sure I’m gunna love this.
And oh yeah I fucking loved this, this is everything that epitomises a great bottle film.
That rug scene genuinely had me all kinds of fucked up, my heart was racing so hard and because it was only half way through I was convinced that he wouldn’t make it.
And then when they get out, the family dynamics that it explored are fantastic.
I expected the parents to be split up but didn’t expect the stepdad to have that good of a role.
It has easily one of the best child performances his innocence and curiosity of everything is perfect and the relationship he has with Brie Larsons character is truly the heart of this film.
I feel like this film is just one that flew right past me, it has over 1 million watched and I’ve never heard anyone talk about it.
However this does remind me that I should watch 10 Cloverfield lane however I haven’t seen that purely because I got it spoiled for me.
