Oscar Winners (Ranked) (2018)
(Best Live Action Short) 

I was gunna cut out short films from this challenge that I’m doing but I thought nah let’s do one more and if it’s bad I’ll stop and if it’s good I’ll carry on 

And oh my lord this short is exceptional.

The cinematography was beautiful and somehow made England look great, the bike rides were so quaint but also had such dark ominous tones to it. 
The story was beautiful, films about dead people work so well when written correctly and this is really no exception to that. 

Without spoiling too much about it I really do think it’s a masterful exploration into communication and isolation which tackles perceptions of deafness being a disability in such a small time frame. 

Could’ve watched a film feature of this.
