After actually finishing the challenge for the first time last year, i am pumped to go into the next round.
As for every Hooptober, i challenge myself with only picking movies i have not seen yet.
This year's rules gave me the opportunity to catch up on some of the classics and actually include a lot of movies that I had on the shelf unseen anyway. All in all, the list is perhaps a bit too American, but I feel comfortable with it and believe that I will have a very fun hooptober with it.

EDIT: Due to the postponement of "Candyman" in Germany to 2021, I had to restructure my list a bit in the last minute. "Candyman" had fulfilled two criteria: Being from 2020 and having a majority black team/director.
As a replacement, "The Hunt" and "Tales from the Hood " are now added. As a result, "The Fury" is also forced to be dropped from the list.
