Hooptober 7: This Time It's Contagious
It's that most wonderful time of the year again: Hooptober! The only Letterboxd challenge I do with any degree of regularity. It's a blast every year, and it pushes me to seek out weird new shit that I otherwise might not.
Long live Cinemonster, the mastermind behind this challenge and giver of the law!
I'll just copy and paste his rules and regulations here:
Cinemonster: "I will begin as I did the last six years: I would like to do 31 horror films in October, but that doesn't seem possible at the moment so I will start my 31 on September 15th.
I WILL REVIEW THEM ALL (I really mean that). Those of you not new to the LB block know that horror is near and dear to my heart.

2 films from this year (We Summon the Darkness, Color Out of Space)

The highest rated horror film from the 50s that you can access (Curse of the Demon)
1 film that is set entirely inside one location (The Beast Must Die)
1 Invisible Person film (the invisible man)
1 Non Dracula Hammer Film (the two faces of dr. jekyll)
2 films with a black director or predominantly black cast or lead (tales from the hood 2, Bones)
1 film with a movie theater in it (An American Werewolf in London)
And 1 Tobe Hooper Films (There must ALWAYS be a Hooper film) Lifeforce
