Movies based on real events ranked
Oscar Winners (Ranked) (2018)
(Best Sound)
Only makes sense to watch this one after watching Darkest Hour considering the nature and timing of the two pieces.
I should also preface this saying that I’ve seen this before and absolutely hated it so I’m really hoping my opinion changes
And I’m not even joking when I say that 5m In I feel like an absolute moron for rating this a 1 star, even in such a short time frame the cinematography alone deserves more then that.
What a ridiculous state of mind I must’ve been in whilst watching this.
It goes without saying (considering it’s Hans Zimmer) but the score in this film is outrageously good. It’s such a crucial reason as to why this film is as tense as it is it really establishes the urgency with an almost clock like sound constantly in the background.
Wish I’d of watched this one in the cinema, war films are always better in the cinema
Oh also now that Nosferatu is out and Harry Styles got replaced in that and he’s by far the worst thing about this film.
Can we all agree that he never gets employed in the film industry again?
