2025 Oscar Nominations
I’ve not watched Munich before but I have seen Baader Meinhoff Complex which goes into this topic but not nearly in enough detail.
However everything that I have heard about it and this film, I think I’m gunna love this one probably more than a lot of other people.
If they get the dialogue and intensity in this correct, I can see this being a 4.5 or higher.
Damn, wasn’t as good as I was hoping that’s for sure.
Disappointing? Yes
A good film? Also yes
The performances are great, the handheld approach it took worked really well. It being grainy to match the footage also worked really well.
The ending felt a little anti climactic, felt like it was a little rushed to get this to be as close to 90m as possible.
And of course it being a bottle film massively bolsters it for me aswell.
Oh and it’s kinda embarrassing that I didn’t realise that John Magaro and David Dastmalchian aren’t the same person.
Not until after this was over did I realise that this wasn’t David.
