THX 04 | SvdW film reviews

ACTIONx52 returns in 2021 with lots of variety and hopefully plenty of violence.
There are 52 action films, they can be watched weekly or they can be watched as quickly as possible, the goal is simply to watch these in 2021.
All films can either be first time watches or rewatches. The picks must meet the following criteria, no matter how loosely.
All 52 films need to be reviewed (even if it's just a short sentence!) and tagged ''actionx52'' and ''actionx521''.

The challenge starts as of 01/01/21, anyone wishing to take part can submit a list in the comments below and I will comment on your list with my choice for #52.

All you have to do is create your own list that fills the criteria below and post it into the comments on this thread. (YOU CAN JOIN AT ANY POINT, EVEN AFTER THE MONTH OF THE HUNT HAS BEGUN). Once you have done that I will add your name and your list up here, and once we get underway you simply have to watch and review each of your chosen films.

Be sure to include a link back to this thread in each of your own lists so others can participate if they want to, and also make sure you number your lists so they can be cross-referenced easily. I would also recommend adding the respective tasks to the comments of each film on your list.

5. Goldsmith is my favourite composer. Watch an action film composed by Jerry Goldsmith.
6. The King of DTV Entertainment. Watch a film directed by Isaac Florentine.
7. When you’re big in Japan. Watch a film filmed or produced in Japan.
8. Taking time. Watch an action film with long takes. (Some examples thanks to waybeyond451).
9. I love stunt work. Watch an action film with Tom Cruise or Jackie Chan.
10. I love the music from Predator 1 & 2. Watch an action film composed by Alan Silvestri.

12. The Italian Job. Watch an action film filmed or produced in Italy.
13. I’m slowly getting through the list. Watch a film with Slow Motion.

15. He made one of my favourite soundtracks with Hammerhead (featured in Broken Arrow). Watch an action film composed by Hans Zimmer.

23. Question Reality. Watch an action film with a lot of CGI / Green Screen or Animated Action.

26. For the Things that are on Fire. Watch an action film directed by Ringo Lam.
27. From Berlin with Love. Watch an action film filmed or produced in Germany.
28. A View to A Kill. Watch an action film filmed in First Person View.
