Each October in the run-up to Halloween, I normally pick a long running horror franchise that I've not seen in it's entirety, to finally watch from start to finish (apart from 2019 when I had a remake-a-thon which as you might have guessed, wasn't a good idea).
This year I hadn't planned anything out, and there are so many short series or singular sequels that I've been meaning to get round to, not to mention the myriad of random films I want to watch. So being late to get started, on 4 October I decided to knock a "quick list" together of what I would aim to watch this month.

I've only been on Letterboxd for a couple of months and had no idea what Hooptober was until today 8 October. Hmm, I wonder if I can fulfil the rules of this game within my already established list (besides aiming to watch way more films)?
Turns out that I mostly could, but ended up adding a few more movies to my watch list for the month to meet all the criteria.
