I understand that barely anybody has actually watched this film yet, so in this review there isn’t going to be any spoilers that you guys have to worry about.
I’ll keep it brief on this first watch
First of all I 10000% need to Rewatch this didn’t love it as much as I thought I would but still thought it was great
Colman Domingo was fucking outstanding, but wow did both of Clarence Maclin and Sean Dino Johnson really impress me, this film like Nomadland and Sound of Metal casts people from this world which just makes this feel authentic as hell.
In a place where it doesn’t even seem imaginable they found a reason to be so vulnerable and real with eachother.
It really is a prison drama like no other.
I’ll probably do a more extensive full review on rewatch of this
