First off, that one long camera shot style the movies shot in stood out instantly . Mfers saw that GoodFellas restaurant sequence/shot that Scorsese invented and ran with it. Therefore, I don't believe it should have won best director. They stole Scorcese’s work. Micheal Keaton should have won for best actor instead. His performance was more of a highlight than how it was shot.
