Watched this film a little over 2 years ago and absolutely adored it, I’ve wanted to watch this loads of times since but never got around to rewatching it, hopefully I’ll still feel the same about this film. 

I definite didn’t like it as much but that for sure happens for me for films that are like this. It’s still a wonderful heartbreaking story that’s told incredibly well, with an amazingly well written screenplay and Top notch performances to match. 

Matthew McConaughey deserved every single part of this Oscar, I watched This fantastic video about his life and how he turned down 12 million for 1 role in a romcom because he didn’t want to be typecasted and wanted to do dramas; and what a ballsy decision that was but it most definitely paid off. 

This is by far my favourite Jared Leto performance I’ve seen. I do really need to see Requiem for a dream, everything I’ve heard about that film just sparks my internet in it more and more and it feels like it’s something I’m going to love but I’ve just not got round to it. 

If you haven’t seen this film I would 100% suggest it, it’s easily one of the best most consistently liked films based on real events and such a touching story.
