I've decided to participate in this year's Hooptober challenge (created by the fantastic Cinemonster, link to the main list here) and I'm very excited. This will be my first time doing any sort of movie challenge like this and as a fan of horror I reckon this will be the perfect start. I'm not too familiar with the regulations of Hooptober but I'm going to take it upon myself to only watch films I haven't seen. I will try my best to fully complete the list on time. Maybe I'll watch a film a day, maybe I'll miss a day and catch up on the next, who knows? Anyway, the rules are as follows:
6 countries
6 decades
7 2nd films of franchises
4 body horror films
2 films from this year
3 disease based films
The highest rated horror film from the 50s that you haven't seen and can access.
1 film that is set entirely inside one location
1 Invisible Person film
1 Non Dracula Hammer Film
2 films with a black director or predominantly black cast or lead.
1 film with a movie theater in it.

And 1 Tobe Hooper Film (There must ALWAYS be a Hooper film)

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to overlap some films to get to 31 movies but I'm just going to stick with the rules and end up with 36 to watch. Viewing and reviewing will begin at 12:01am cst on Sept 15th. Can't wait!
