I do understand everybody’s criticisms for this film, it has the absolute subtlety of a sledgehammer
It also obviously could’ve dug much more into its darker themes more than what it did;
But, it’s a Farrelly film, idk what people expected of course he was going to add a little humour and focus more on the theming of development and camaraderie and I think he did that really well, and if you look at this film in that lends then I believe this is a great film.
I also think another reason why I like this so much is because the first time I watched it I went into it with hearing that it is the worst best picture ever and honestly if that’s the case then I’m in for a good run because I do think this is great.
Oh I’m also very convinced that Viggo Mortensen is a shapeshifter is some sort of way.
Cause why on earth does he look different in every single role he’s in?
