Kinda sums up what I thought about majority of this film, it was kinda dull and a little unfitting getting Ryan Gosling to play this role, just really didn’t work all that much for me. 
However, the last 30m when they finally get to space is fantastic and probably the main reason why this won an Oscar for visual effects cause it was beautiful.
