17/32 - Tobe Hooper
I'm a fan of the natural horror sub-genre and hadn't ever seen this one from Hooper. He's certainly playing the hits, but maybe without as much heart as some of his previous teens in trouble movies. The mechanical and practical effects look pretty good, but when you see the whole CGI croc walking, it doesn't look like it's connected to the ground at all.
These teens are pretty unlikable across the board, so thankfully most of them get eaten.
