(aka Scavenger Hunt #65)
On its 65th incarnation, this will be my first scavenger hunt! How exciting.
All the films that I have chosen are films that I have yet to see, and I tried to be as eclectic as possible with my picks, with a range of films of varying quality, from different countries, in different languages and from and about different perspectives.
Letterboxd has shown me that I'm a bit of a stickler for post-2000 cinema, so I'm pleased that 15 out of the 31 films here are pre-2000, though the amount of films directed by women - 5 - definitely needs increasing next time (and on that note, I'm always happy to take recommendations).
