He’s A Perfectly Normal Boy! Hooptober XI
7/32 - New World Cinema 1/3
“Looks like you’ve got an alternate universe in here or something” -Bill (Ratzenberger)
I can’t think of another immediate sequel that went such a different direction than the first film. As a 12 year old when this came out, I was all in for this supernatural comedy that was part cowboy and time travel adventure. Watching it now, it plays like a proto-Jumanji or Bill & Ted’s. It’s so off the rails and totally endearing. Try not to love the zombie Gramps, I dare you. This movie gets a half-Star boost for the best sequel subtitle ever.
