Hooptober 11: #47
[Criteria: 1 film by Michele Soavi]
I have no idea what to make of it fully but I enjoyed it thoroughly. A movie that's equal parts phantasmagorical zombie horror, a tragic love story, a hilarious satire, giallo, existential dread, a psychopathic descent into madness, brotherhood and so many other genres. Almost pulls off everything it aspires while creating the most gorgeous images I've seen in a horror movie. Those final 40 minutes of the movie are truly bizarre but so wonderful and matter of factly shown that you can't help but be in awe of the filmmaking.
