Hooptober 11: Your Vice is Locked Room in an Old Dark House and Only I Have the Chainsaw

I just don’t think Homelander is a good father.
I enjoyed this mostly because of the Halloween vibes and performances by Antony Starr and Lizzie Caplan. There’s a twist that you’ll probably see coming, but I didn’t really mind. This isn’t really doing anything new but it’s still enjoyable.
I don’t understand if we’re supposed to believe the villain is just a flesh-and-blood person or if they have some supernatural powers. They seem to be able to magically close and lock doors but they also can’t get through a simple locked door.
I discovered after I finished it that there’s an after credits scene. I hate that Hulu tries to make you go right to the next movie on your watchlist instead of just letting the credits run. That’s probably a setting I can fix. I did read about the epilogue but I guess for the sake of completeness I should dive back in and watch it.
