Slappy McGee’s review published on Letterboxd:
First off... we have a LORI GRIMES sighting!!!
Man, I love THE WALKING DEAD.
Hey... speaking of which... there's this movie.
LORI GRIMES is dealing with the death of a child and she gets a chance to talk to the spirit of that child - if only she'll follow ONE FUCKING RULE!
Well.... guess what?
Yep. You guessed it. You get a gold star.
Then things go sideways. You know the drill.
So, it's not the most original of plots. BUT... it is unrolled very well. It's Solid Acting. Fine direction. Nice Art Direction. Great Cinematography. And a shit-ton of Jump Scares.
Very engaging.
Doesn't overstay its welcome.
And the ending is inevitable.
Kinda loved that last scene and the way it closes before the credits.
Very nice.
Certainly worth a watch!
