Bill Paxton's underrated debut is one of the most fascinating horror-thriller I've seen about religious indoctrination and fanaticism. A serial killer movie wrapped around disillusioned and obsessive fundamentalism that reveals so much about the depth of harm parents do to their kids with pushing bigotry and radicalism at young age and how they grow onto lead such stunted and fucked up lives because of their upbringing.
