One of the most gorgeously shot movies of 21st century, digital cinematography at its finest with Gore Verbinski designing a gothic horror of the finest order. Loved the vibes of this and loved the eerieness that is present so heavily. Jason Isaacs is chillingly brilliant and goddamn does it get exquisitely gory at times. Maybe meanders a little but that's more of a feature than the bug, and I mostly bought wherever Gore was taking me on. What a ride!
