Hooptober 11: Your Vice is Locked Room in an Old Dark House and Only I Have the Chainsaw
#6: A series with 4 or more movies (4)
Max
I enjoyed #4 more than the other sequels. Mainly because the two lead kids. Not surprisingly, Kathryn Newton is on her way to becoming a star.
The big reveal is that Wyatt is actually Hunter from PA2, but … why? So Tobi the demon has wanted a boy and puts a family through generations of hell to get a boy, and then just puts him up for adoption? And then acquires another little boy to be his minion? And then moves in nextdoor to the first boy to be around him? Are demons stupid? What are we doing here guys?
It’s normal for at least one parent to brush off strange happenings and ignore obvious signs in these films, but these parents are way over the top. You let a strange kid move into your house because his mom is sick, and you ignore your teenage daughter when she shows you irrefutable evidence of him being a creeper? Then someone almost murders her by locking her in the garage with a running car and you think she’s just acting up for attention? I think even Katie/Tobi is a better parent than those two dipshits.
