FULL DISCLOSURE:
I was only able to find this on HULU.
It was only available in Hindi.
There were NO SUBTITLES available.
(Seriously? What the fuck, Hulu?! Why aren't you offering subtitles?! You're really trying to kill this movie from being watched. Idiots.)
And - for the record, your Honor - I don't speak Hindi... or read it.
But I was like, "Fuck it. I'm just gonna watch this and figure this shit out. I've watched my fair share of Bollywood and other Indian cinema. I should be good, right?"
CUT TO 2 HOURS AND 8 MINUTES LATER:
So who the fuck was that ghost? Who was she after? Why was she fucking up those single dudes? What was the legend exactly? How were they expecting to kill this ghost? Who the fuck WAS everybody and what were their relationships? Goddammit, I gotta learn Hindi!!!
Strangely enough, I did end up liking this movie - that I couldn't understand. But there was enough to hold onto that I found it a fun experience.
Not one that I would recommend to others... but there ya go.
And the couple of times that they busted out a dance number... well, that needs NO explanation. Dance is the universal language, baby! Love me a Bollywood dance number. There's even one during the first part of the credits. Yes!!!
