#4: A series with 4 or more movies (2)

Rather than making a prequel and a prequel of the prequel, they really should have made this an anthology series. For example, NEXT OF KIN doesn’t have any actual connection to the main story as far as I remember, and it’s easily the 2nd best of the whole series.
In any found footage movie it gets hard to believe people would keep filming when shit goes down, but making a whole multigenerational family that are all obsessed with security cameras really stretches believability to new lengths. This entry is easily the most forgettable in the main series, just sort of kicking the story forward a tiny bit. The demon wanted Katie all along, but actually it wanted Kristi all along, but really it actually wanted Hunter all along. Make up your mind dude, Jesus.
The kitchen cabinet scene scare is well done. Abby is a very good dog. They should’ve just let Martine burn some sage.
