Long overdue: first time watching a movie by Alfred Hitchcock.
In my review for Citizen Kane I wrote that pre-70's movies are a hard sell for me. There are always exceptions and gotta try to stay open minded.

I really enjoyed this movie.
It's funny, it has some fantastic action sequences, it has suspense, the story and dialogue are well-written, the locations are great, even the poster and title sequence are great.
Sure it's made in 1959 but similar stories are still being done today. Timeless for the most part.
The length weighs it down a little bit, but it's never boring and the pacing feels good.

Recommended! First movie by Hitchcock I've watched but it won't be the last.
