Oscar Winners (Ranked) (2022)
(Best Supporting Actress)
Going into this one completely blind, before looking into Steven Yeuns films, but within the first 10m I knew I was going to love this one.
David had my heart from the very first scene all the way to the last. What a fantastically written character with an amazing child performance to match. I genuinely had to check if him and Anne were siblings in real life because their connection was so strong throughout.
The film as a whole just feels very homely and caring and fully captures the essence of family dynamics and the pursuit of dreams.
I think the only reason it isn’t getting a 5 is because of the ending, not to spoil anything but I’m typically not a fan of that kind of ending.
