I genuinely think Emerald Fennell might be my favourite “new age” director, I’ve not seen Lady Bird or Little Women so still unsure whether I’m gunna like Greta more.
I wasn’t surprised by seeing the same cinematographer who did The Substance also did this, visually it’s absolutely stunning fuller with vibrant colour in nook and cranny which obviously contrasts with its darker theming. The cinematography isn’t only aesthetically pleasing but also serves to enhance the emotional weight of its narrative.
The pacing is fantastic in each scene it’s either filled with tension or massively engaging there’s really never any dull moments.
There was little things that annoyed me throughout and the ending pissed me off a little aswell
