I like to rewatch this film at least once a year for three reasons:

1. Lee Marvin
2. John Cassavetes
3. Cassavetes punching Ronald Reagan in the face.

Willem Dafoe never phones in a performance.

To this day, every time I think, you piece of shit, I hear it in John Mason’s voice.

So how am I supposed to watch this Terrence Malick??? Am I supposed to gather a couple of fellow Terrence Malick fans and do an Ocean's 11 on The AFI??? Please be serious Terrence.
