peak 70s LA movie. the GREEN in this movie, my goodness. the cinematography too, loved how every shot was in motion. definitely need to dive deeper into altman, but this was a pretty damn good start. may have more to say about it once i’ve seen more of his oeuvre, but as far as a neo-noir goes, it’s everything you could want. captures the weirdness and idiosyncrasies of LA real well.
