fun romanian neo-noir/thriller. our guy wish i knew more about the mid century history there to fully grasp what the allusions and the past our protagonist was wrestling with, but still very entertaining. short and sweet with the classic noir trope of the past catching up with you. an excellent jazz club scene as well. dare i say there were some (i hate to use the word) lynchian elements as well.

i'm glad i was able to make this work, took a few steps - downloading off youtube, and adjusting the subtitle file so it lined up - but was definitely worth it.
