It's What's Inside
★★★½

A pretty slick flick.
Well paced and - once the plot actually gets going - it's a lot of fun to follow along with. Fun relationship comedy/drama/thriller stuff happening.

One really good twist. One okay twist.

The biggest weakness is the ending plays very quick and I wanted more. It seems like the ideas had run out and the filmmaker was just trying to end it.

But still - overall - quite an enjoyable film.

Disclaimer:
(Not really what I consider "horror" but I suppose it's not labeled that either on Letterboxd, so I'm not complaining... I just read a lot of things - reviews and critiques - saying it was horror... but it's not really. Sci-fi, mystery, thriller, comedy. Sure those all work, but not horror. So why am I putting it in my Hooptober as an "Bonus Film"? Because I made the decision based on others' reviews and once I watched out and found out that it's not "technically" horror, I just shrugged. I'm stubborn like that.)
