This is not a movie for divorced dads with daughters. Though, if you happen to be playing the long game against a crazy ex-wife, perhaps it works out.

This movie is as slow of a burn as you can imagine. Beautifully crafted in a brutalist post-war way, Dark Water is certainly creepy and a powerful meditation on abandonment. Unfortunately, I'm just not buying the final act by the mother.
