A funny, scary and deeply weird film that's reminiscent of Adult Swim informercials, analog horror web series with traces of In the Mouth of Madness and the work of Koji Shiraishi. A sharp satire that conceptualizes capitalism as a horrifying Eldritch which in it's quest for infinite growth, assimilates and devours everything in it's path.
Maybe one of the key texts to understanding the early 21st century. It feels both like a time capsule and a look into the future at the same time. It's crazy how far ahead of the curve Japan was on the whole "the internet will fuck you up" thing.
