ASVINS stars out as a found footage movie, and the intro is strong. I even jumped at one of the jump scares, and I often see these coming.

5 characters get killed in the intro, and we expect the movie to follow a different group. But then they introduce the same 5 people. Now, in most found footage movies you know everyone is going to die, but in this case we already know exactly HOW they're going to die.

That kills a lot of the momentum going forward. It also gives up on the found footage aspect of it, which is not a big deal I guess but may be an issue for a lot of people. The story gets bogged down with philosophy, with the main character reading a philosophy text in the voiceover. Not feeling it guys. And it just drags. Towards the end the main character goes into the spirit world/Hell and it's basically just a big cave with nothing in it. Come on.

The sound and cinematography are great but I just couldn't bring myself to care about anything happening.
