Paul Garofoli’s review published on Letterboxd:
A pious colonial family settles on the edge of the frontier to give glory to God. Despite their faith, they are ill equipped to deal with the evil forces awaiting them in the woods. Atmospheric and full of dread. Anya Taylor-Joy is luminescent as the teenage daughter of the family. This movie is a slow boil but deeply disturbing. Be forewarned, the dialogue is in Old English. For me that lent itself to authenticity....authentically scary!
