Watching this film knowing what happens in the end is a complete different feeling. It feels more emotional, very sad, very clever and yet very hopeful.

The Sixth Sense up until it’s final moments feels like a devastating film. A man slowly feels like he’s losing his wife, a kid who is traumatized, confused and a mother’s helplessness to understand her child. Shyamalan’s writing here is absolutely masterful, the information he’s showing to us,the audience is just perfect. It gets us invested in the story and makes us care for the characters.

Cole’s character arc is one of the most beautiful character arc I’ve ever seen. The agony and fear he initially feels and the satisfaction he feels at the end was heartbreaking. The scene with his mother in the car towards the end never fails to break me. Haley Joel Osment was brilliant here as Cole, one of the strongest kid performances ever. Bruce Willis was outstanding here. His relationship with Cole was extremely fascinating and Bruce just makes you feel the pain and his want for closure, amazing portrayal. Toni Collette was great as usual, the love and fear she had for Cole was poignantly portrayal by her.

The score was phenomenal. Of course M.Night’s direction was exceptional, it’s meticulous, smart and emotional. The ending is an all timer, no words for it.

For those questioning how this is a horror film, there is a scene where a kid is dead and the dad finds out how it happened, that’s horror for me, it shook me to my core. A must watch if you haven’t seen it already!
