Raw and bleak revenge thriller. I'm surprised I didn't like this.
Paddy Considine is great, the movie itself is not.
Bad pacing, I don't like the way the flashbacks are spread throughout. It's kinda predictable what happened and showing it in fragments throughout didn't have added value at all in my opinion.
I never cared much about any of the characters but even then it did hit hard when it's finally revealed what happened in the past.
Either way, beside a few scenes this didn't do much for me unfortunately but this is coming from someone who didn't like Trainspotting either. Maybe it's just bleak British movies that I don't like.
