"Cyrano" may not necessarily blow the socks off of a more seasoned musical lover, but for someone like me who is still entering into this genre for the most part, it was great! I personally really loved it for what it was. It's story is beautiful, the music is honestly excellent (and has already been added to my Spotify playlist of film songs) the production is surprisingly strong and Peter Dinklage is yet again exceptional, and if anyone deserves more lead roles, it's him. Although, both Kelvin Harrison Jr and Haley Bennett are fantastic and more than keep up with him too.
A quiet little surprise for me, and a film I'd probably revisit.
