***************
A very well-made bio pic about the revolutionary Fred Hampton and the rise of the Black Panther Party. The FBI had infiltrated the Panthers with an inside informant - hence the "Judas", and this makes the whole movie an interesting analogy of the Christ story.
The movie is extremely well directed and well shot. It looks great and the acting is very strong led by LaKeith Stanfield and Daniel Kaluuya as the pivotal pair of lead actors. Also a very strong supporting performance by Jesse Plemons as the FBI handler.
Knowing how the movie ends, this is more of a character study and with all the strong acting and fine direction, that plays out very well. It's a highly interesting and well-made film. Quite good.
