This movie reminds a little of The VVitch. 
Otherwise it is more raw in its kind and look.

It doesn’t open a mystery about a witch, it shows from the beginning what this movie has to deal with. So it is more interesting in what direction this will go. 

I think this could be called folk horror?
So there is so much nature, no technology, no big civilization, very natural.

Big respect for Naomi Rapace to take a little part in this Macedonian production.
It seems she even didn’t speak their language, so her character just can’t speak.

Even more respect for the strong female leading cast that melts very organic with the film. 

The movie is in its narrative style almost poetic, artificial, beautiful. 
The horror might crawl slow but when it is there it can be very direct. 

Who put a spell on me being so fascinated?!

Sometimes it is worth to look outside the mainstream and just the known names to discover such little specialties.
