Unquestionably one of the worst films ever made. A film that had some promise with its cast and writer/director Cameron Crowe but instead, Crowe not only takes some step backwards as a filmmaker but also brings in elements that once worked for him and backfires. For a film with a 105-minute running time, 100 minutes of that film including the credits often features some kind of music in the background as it gets very annoying and repetitive while the script is a fucking mess. There's never any characters to root for as everyone is either a Type A or a Type B and no one is really fleshed out. Even as the talent that is in this film aren't just wasted but they aren't given anything to do. Even as some of the plot-points in the film not only become obvious but never really pulls any surprises as Crowe tries to make the audience feel something. Well, there was a feeling for these moments. Disgust. At the same time, the resolutions are unsatisfying and hokey as it is time for Cameron Crowe to stop relying on his idealist idea of hope and optimism and stop relying on music to drive the plot. Therefore, FUCK THIS MOVIE!!!!!
