Native, Indigenous & Aboriginal Cinema

A list of narrative films and documentaries that either profile or revolve around a Native/Indigenous/Aboriginal person and/or a specific community.

I have to add that there has been an uptick in Native/Indigenous storytelling on U.S. television, so I recommend checking the following series too:

There is a preference for films/series that are made by filmmakers within their own community, although there are some made by outsiders as well.
