Tons of grifts/sleights/cons.
A reliably unreliable narrator.
Backstabs upon backstabs.
Lots of star power and backup star power.
A certain slickness - not quite earned - but certainly reached for.
Some questionable "crossing the line" editing that's irritating, not cool.
Needed a better soundtrack.
Needed more Hoffman.
Needed more Garcia.
Still fucking enjoyable though.
Always love me a good conman movie.
I slurp it up like Jell-O through a straw.
